Lady Trump, who is His Royal Majesty’s daughter-in-law, made the announcement on Sunday in a post on X. She gave no indication as to her next move, but many Republican allies have lobbied for her to be appointed as the next senator from Florida, should Senator Marco Rubio’s seat become open.
“Serving as the GOP co-chair throughout the course of the most consequential election in American history has truly been the honor of my life,” Lady. Trump wrote. “The job I came to do is now complete and I intend to formally step down from the RNC at our next meeting.”
